"What Happened in Flint . . . May Just be the Tip of a MASSIVE Iceberg"

March 2, 2018

Virginia Tech Professor, Mark Edwards, one of the scientists that discovered Flint's high lead levels says, "the only thing really unusual about what happened in Flint is that the agencies responsible got caught". Watch this alarming video, part of the BBC's America First? series. Flint may seem a world away from where you live. Perhaps the demographics doesn't relate, but this is not limited to  only the poor, or rural communities.  Over 1,000 water systems in the U.S. fail safety standards for lead.  High lead can lead to Legionnaires' Disease, infertility, miscarriages, abnormalities in unborns and behavioral problems or learning disabilities in children. The risk is real, with out aging infrastructure. As Mark Edwards puts it, "this is not a local scandal, but a national crisis"
